Errors in our processing

A wrong total, rank, per-resident rate, name casing, link or label is fixed at the next build once confirmed. Say which figure and, if you can, what USAspending shows.

Errors in the underlying record

Amounts, dates, places of performance, descriptions and recipient names come from what agencies reported to USAspending. This site cannot change them; the awarding agency can. USAspending's About page explains its data quality process, and each award on this site links to its USAspending record.

Removal of a person's name

The site publishes organisations only. If a page, row or description names a natural person, a sole proprietor or a family trust, it will be removed immediately on request and the name added to a permanent block list.
